Mario amp Sonic at the Olympic Games features 16 Olympic events including Track and Field, Archery, Skeet Shooting, Cycling Pursuit and 10m Platform Diving.Yoursquoll use the Touch Screen and stylus for many of the events, jumping, swimming, running and flipping your way through competitions to win the gold. Each character has his or her special talents and athletic capabilities to the competitions. These characters show their strengths in three gameplay modes, including a Mission Mode that requires you to complete special scenarios with specific characters.Try your hand at fun Dream events, including Dream Canoe, Dream Boxing, Dream Basketball and Dream Long Jump. Play each individual event or string them together for a mega competition. Single Match Mode lets players try out each event individually, and they can compete for the highest overall score in Circuit Mode. Players can join in the fun simultaneously via wireless connection on the Nintendo DS, using either DS Download Play or Multi Card gameplay options. The game also features an online leaderboard option via Nintendo Wi Fi Connection.
