The Independence is a pocket sprung mattresses, but with a difference small spring sitting on top of larger springs, offering dual levels of support. The upper spring offers supreme levels of comfort, whilst the lower spring engages underneath the heavier parts of the body, ensuring you are fully supported where you need it most.  The Elite Independence is sumptuously upholstered with luxurious premium quality natural fillings in excess of 4kgm2 on either side of the mattress. 1250gsm layered natural wool cotton blend 250gsm wool silk with cashmere 1250gsm layered natural wool cotton blend 1200gsm bonded cotton 170gsm spring insulator All these natural fillings provide the outstanding levels of comfort and help regulate body temperature by drawing moisture away from the body. Please note that due to the high natural filling content in this mattress the mattress will require regular turning. The sleeping surface on this mattress is further enhanced with 3 rows of hand stitching which provides high levels of edge support. The base of the divan is crafted from sustainable softwood and upholstered in a choice of 4 colour options, each of which is available in a range of storage options.
